First Steps Preschool: A Great Place to Learn and Grow!

First Steps Preschool offers a rich learning environment and multicultural perspective to more than 300 preschool students in the diverse communities of  Des Plaines, Glenview, Morton Grove, Niles, and Park Ridge.

Committed to providing all students with the specific opportunities they need to succeed and thrive, First Steps fosters each child’s academic, social, emotional, and behavioral growth and achievement. Our preschoolers move on to one of D63's five elementary schools: Apollo, Mark Twain, Melzer, Nelson, or Washington, which serve grades K-5. 

Morning and afternoon classes are offered to children aged 3-5 at the Early Learning Center.  Programs include:

Community Preschool (Fee-based.)
Preschool for All for At-risk Students (Must qualify for placement. No cost.) 
Special Education Preschool (Must qualify for placement. No cost.)
 Programa Preescolar de Lenguaje Dual
